🌧️Little things to get through November 🌧️

(These cold, dark months are tough for me, so I’m putting together a little list of nice things to do, to remind myself that it’s not all bad)

❤️ Hot showers or baths (oooh, and a nice scrub feels great! A homemade sugar scrub, for instance)

🧡 Soup! Cheap, delicious and warming.

❤️ Knitting for your loved ones, or wearing what others have knitted for you.

🧡 Hot drinks! My faves are hot, spiced wine, hot chocolate, and mulled cranberry juice, but tea is also delicious.

❤️ Candles are calming and nice. I like the scented ones, forest smells are great when the weather is too awful to go for walks.

🧡 Writing letters.

❤️ Magazines or movies in bed are the best when you can hear the rain pouring down outside!

🧡 I’m usually too tired to bake by the time November comes around, but if you’re not, it’s a great thing to have friends over for fresh bread and tea.

❤️ Naps. You all deserve a nice nap.

🧡 Walks outside to get some fresh air before it gets dark.

❤️ Planning next year’s garden!

Stay strong, November is not forever!
